Government buildings in the old part of Torshavn

Torshavn is one of the smallest capitals in the world with a population arround 12.000.

Anyway Torhsavn has a lot to offer. Among other things, Torshavn has a lot of cafés, restaurants, bars and shops.

Down at the harbor the boats come in and sell their new fished fish.

There are several musicfestivals in Torshavn during the summer. In time to time some musicians unencouraged plays in the center.

Also Torhavns has a rich cultorelife, Listasavn Føroya (museum) ia a beutifull place to visit, the Nordic House also has a lot to offer among other tings exhibitions, music concerts, lectures and faroese nights with faroese food.

Also there are som nature museums which are worth a visit.
