Even though we were on the other side of Europe, every evening was like returning in to a family. The house was clean, comfortable, and welcoming ...a stone's throw from the city center. Every morning we were cuddeled with a super breakfast. we advise everyone to come! They can suggest you very beautiful place to visit and dry you of you are wet

Huang said: Anette and her husband are the most friendly and helpful hosts I've met. They (and their cute dog Flora!) gave us a warm welcome in person. The private room we had was sectioned into a living room with a TV and sound system and a mini-fridge and a bedroom. It was very spacious and neat. There are two bathrooms in the house that we share with them and the other guests, but they are both very nice and clean. Anette and her husband also provide home-made breakfast for their guests every morning, and they are delicious!! We also had a great time conversing with the other guests over breakfast. :) Anette and her husband are very knowledgable about the Faroe Islands and where to go/what to see. They gave us a lot of suggestions!! Wish we had stayed longer at their place

Their home is very close to the bus terminal and an easy walk to downtown Visiting different parts of the islands is very dependant on the weather and every morning they would advise where the best place to go would be. The space is clean, with a beautiful view out of the kitchen and a short (15 min-ish) walk to downtown Torshavn. They had considered every need. Note one must climb stairs for bedrooms and bathrooms

Kristen said: My friend and I traveled from Boston to the Faroe Islands and had a lovely time spending two of our days at Anette's home in Torshavn. Booking and communication/check in were very easy with Anette, and she was home to greet us and show us around when we arrived. The room itself was huge and comfortable, with a living area a bit separate from the bed. It was very convenient to have a small fridge and ability to make instant coffee/tea in the room. The shared bathroom we used was downstairs and was amazing - it had heated floors and a lovely shower. Everything was very clean, nice, and comfortable. As noted in the description, our room was underneath the kitchen so we could hear the hussle and bussle upstairs in the morning but it wasn't a problem. The breakfast was delicious and very nice to have (a tad early - 7:30-8) but it was fine to skip or go back to bed if we wanted. Anette and her husband were so hospitable and warm, and were more than willing to give suggestions and help us try to plan our activities. We also loved their adorable dog, Flora. The location was great - very walkable to everywhere in the city and a great view of the ocean. Overall, great experience staying here - highly recommended

Alexandra said: My stay at Anette and Eydun’s was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Not only are they incredible hosts, they are incredibly kind and warm people. Their house is impeccable and there were thoughtful touches in my room (hot water heater, mini fridge, maps and guidebooks) to make my stay more welcoming. They are both fun to chat with and are a wealth of knowledge for all things Faroe Islands. I didn’t have a car (which I would recommend) and each night they would help me with the bus schedule so I could reach my hiking destinations and explore the islands. The breakfast is a highlight, homemade and delicious. One evening after a hike they invited me to join them for a delicious soup that Eydun had prepared. I had an early flight out and they had breakfast available so I wouldn’t leave hungry. The location is great - easily walkable to the center of town and the bus station. If you are considering stay here, don’t hesitate!

Jamie said: The weather on Faroe Island can be unstable, and the amazing view worth loads of walk. Therefore, you will need a place you can call home during your trip and Anette's place is definitely one, to help you recharge. They have given us such a warm and great hospitality. They can provide a lot of information if you have questions about traveling around and they are really happy to share all the story and cultures of the Island. There is no problem finding the place. It is 10 minutes walk to the city center for the harbour and bus terminal. Everythings in the house are clean and work well. The bed is comfortable to sleep on. I am already missing the Island. Can't wait to go back and stay at Anette's place again in the future

Herman said: Anette and Eydun were warm and understanding hosts! I told them that I would be arriving around 9:30 PM on Monday and leaving at 5:30 AM on Friday. I actually arrived at 11:00 PM because of a flight delay. Upon my request and for a modest fee, Anette also prepared a delicious fish soup, along with bread and wine, which was waiting for me when I arrived. I enjoyed talking with Anette and Eydun about their life in the Faroe Islands and places to visit. I also enjoyed talking with their other guest. I stayed in the single room on the ("American") 2nd floor; it offers views of the water and at least in May, the sunrise. (I woke up at 4:15 AM to watch the sunrise, and went back to sleep.) This was my first stay in an airbnb, and Anette and Eydun made it a most positive experience. I only wish I could have spent a few more days in the Faroe Islands. I hope to return to the Faroes someday and to stay with Anette and Eydun again!

The breakfast was delicious. They even packed food for me to go on my way out and helped me with the bus schedule to make sure I made it to the airport on time. As a solo traveler I felt very well taken care of there. Would highly recommend.

John said: Spacious, comfy, yet cozy room in a super cool house (grass roof!) in an excellent location. Ten minute walk to the center of Torshavn, but located on a quiet family street. Was a little surprised to find no ensuite bathroom, but the two shared bathrooms were lovely (amazing shower downstairs). The only minor drawback of our stay was that this particular room was under the kitchen and living room upstairs, making it somewhat loud with foot and chair noises above. But nothing that would make us not come back! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and it was really nice to meet the other guests. Anette and Eydun were simply delightful--so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Felt like staying with family.

To me this was no bother, just the usual sound of people upstairs, similar to what I hear from neighbors in my apartment back home. All in all, I'm so happy we stayed with Anette and Eydun and hope to see them again someday

Craig said: This was one of the best b&b experiences we have ever had. Anette and Eyðan were brilliant hosts who made us feel very welcome in their home despite arriving late at night. They did everything possible to make our stay as easy as possible including driving me to collect my rental car at the start of the trip and getting up before 6am to make us breakfast before leaving for the airport. Thank you! The room was very nice and spacious with a double bed, sofa, large television/dvd player and wifi. There was complimentary coffee, tea and freshly baked cakes. It was warm and comfortable in a quiet part of town just 10 minutes walk from the harbour in Torshavn. It was also very close to the main road out of town to get to other parts of the country. The Faroe Islands are incredible and we would love to come back again. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Anette and Eyðan, thank you you for making our stay wonderful.

The room was large and charming with everything we could possibly need: couch, comfy bed, a place to store our clothes and a lovely view of sheep grazing. Breakfast was also wonderful and very thoughtful with everything from fresh fried eggs to bread rolls. They made sure we started are journey with full tummies. Also, their dog was very sweet and adorable. We are very happy we stayed here.

I would recommed staying at Anette Og Eyðun to anyone who ís looking for accomodation in Tórshavn!

They had thought of everything, Eyðun had looked up the weather for us and there were a number of tourism brochures laid out for us to look at. We had a great stay and would recommend to everyone :)

It was more than a place to sleep, I also learned a lot about the beuatiful islands and their inhabitants. The house/room itself was clean, beautiful decorated for Christmas with love for the detail, the room is very spacious. The location is very good, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the city center.

The house is very clean, bathroom is super clean! It's very convenient if you would like to explore Faroe Islands because the Bus station and Ferry are right down the street. Anette and Eydun were extremely warm and welcoming made me feel like I'm at home. They're such loving family. They would help you with any information regarding where to visit. We all had such delicious breakfast every morning it couldn't be better than this! Even on the last day that I had to leave so early they insisted to get up earlier and made sure I didn't leave with empty stomach. More than the magnificent view of this country, the people definitely leaves an imprint on me :) I'm so thankful I get to know this wonderful family. Definitely recommending to those who would love to have wonderful experience with the local.

My room was spacious, the bed comfy, good wifi and the house is only a short walk from the centre of Torshavn. Anette & Eydun are lovely people and they do everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable. If I make it back to Torshavn I would definitely try to stay here again.

Eile said: Ciao, siamo stati in questo splendido b&b per una settimana ad aprile. L'accoglienza è stata fantastica, poiché sono venuti a prenderci al terminal del bus. La stanza è bellissima, grande pulita la colazione poi... fantastica! ogni mattina c'era sia la parte salata, con salmone, aringa, frittate, salumi, sia la parte dolce con yoghurt e cerali. Anette ed Eydun, inoltre, sono persone squisite, che ci hanno dato una grandissima mano ad organizzare le vacanza, telefonando a vari car rental o tour organizzati. Siamo rimasti veramente soddisfatti! Da tornarci!

It's easy to walk to the city center (10 minutes) and everything is very clean and cosy. Anette and Eydun serves a great breakfast and share their stories and recommendations regarding trips around the islands.

My sister and I stayed with them for two weeks as we explored the Faroe Islands, and enjoyed every moment of being their guests. They always greeted us with a smile, and started our days off with the most fabulous breakfast spread. They were available to help if we had any logistical issues figuring out travel plans. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Other guests at the B&B were great company. The house is easily accessible to downtown Tórshavn and all public transit to get you about the islands. I would highly recommend staying here, it was the icing on the cake for a truly magical visit to these islands

We weren’t disappointed : our room was spacious under the roof, very well designed with a wonderful view on n the sea. The breakfast (everyday between 07:30 and 08:00 AM) is delicious, especially with what the husband of Anette has prepared. Salted and sweeted things to get a good start are for whom want. Around the table, good discussions with the other guests ... but don’t hesitate to ask something to Anette : she has often the best answer.
By the way, she gave us the right weather forecasts possible in order to help to make good choices to plan our days in the islands around.
If we come back, we won’t hesitate to choose again to spend some days in Anette’s home in which you can easily feel being in yours

It felt like coming home. The room was big, tidy and welcoming. We had a fridge and a kettle in the room. There was a lot of material regarding sights and attractions. The bathroom was huge and clean as well. The hosts have been offering an awesome breakfast with homemade jam, scones and freshly prepared pancakes. Anette and Eiðun gave useful tips regarding hikes and sightseeing. I would really like to visit Faroe Islands again - just because of them. 😃

My room was very nice and clean with a stunning ocean view. Both bathrooms are state of the art and absolutely clean. The house is ideally located: 5 minute walk to the main bus station, if you intend to travel by public transportation, 5 to 10 minute walk to the harbour and the downtown area. 
The hosts Anette and Eydun are incredibly welcoming and made us feel like home instantly. There are four guestrooms in total, sharing two modern and nice bathrooms. 
The most amazing thing is the breakfast though. It is served in their kitchen and living area with all the other guests and is the perfect start to the day: coffee, tea, juice, bread, cereal different spreads and cheeses, waffels, and a few different things every day. 
I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Faroer Islands

Helena B said: Om ni letar efter ett personligt B&B med fantastisk service så ska ni välja detta boende. 
Vi bodde 4 nätter hos Anette och Eydun. De är de bästa värdarna man kan tänka sig! Du kan fråga dem om allt och de kommer att försöka hjälpa dig. 
Rummet (room nr 1) är ett stort rum med soffa, bord och två sköna sängar. Utsikten över vattnet är underbar. Utanför rummet finns vattenkokare samt kyl. Vi delade badrum med de andra gästerna. Allt var rent och fint. 
Frukostsbuffen var mycket bra. Det fanns allt vi ville ha och lite till. Anette till och med bakade vårt bröd varje morgon. Vi uppskattade verkligen att man åt tillsammans med de andra gästerna vilket gjorde att vi fick bra tips på aktivieter.
Anette och Eydun härliga och vänliga inställning gjorde vår resa på Färörna till en upplevelse! Tack

På dette sted (5 minutters gang til centrum) bliver man budt velkommen som en ven af familien. Både af mennesker og hund :-)
Jeg havde valgt værelset på øverste etage, som havde udsigt over tagene til havet og Nolsoy. Meget rummeligt værelse, og der manglede INTET her.
Morgenmaden blev indtaget i Anette og Eyduns private gemakker. Snakken gik lystigt mellem os "pensionærer" og vores kære værter der kokkerede i det åbne køkken.
Jeg fik lagt en god bund at starte dagen på med denne dejllige morgenbuffet.
Værterne var alle dage meget synlige i huset, og derfor følte jeg, at jeg var på besøg hos mennesker jeg kendte. Dejlig fornemmelse....... 
Selvfølgelig fik alle i huset hjælp og gode råd angående vejr og turforslag af vores værter.
Sidste ting : Aldrig har jeg boet et sted der var så rent !!!!!!!!!!!
Det blev et svært farvel efter 4 dage i godt selskab.
Jeg håber en dag at kunne vende tilbage til dette hus og denne søde familie.
